ഉല്പത്തി 37:4

അപ്പൻ തങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെക്കാളും അവനെ അധികം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവനെ പകെച്ചു; അവനോടു സമാധാനമായി സംസാരിപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
