Toen Chusam gestorven was, werd koning in zijn plaats Hadad, de zoon van Bedad, die Midjan versloeg in het veld van Moab, en zijn stad heette Awit.

And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
