ఆదికాండం 35:10

అప్పుడు దేవుడు అతనితో “నీ పేరు యాకోబు. కానీ ఇప్పటినుండి అది యాకోబు కాదు, నీ పేరు ఇశ్రాయేలు” అని చెప్పి అతనికి ఇశ్రాయేలు అని పేరు పెట్టాడు.

And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
