ஆதியாகமம் 35:1

தேவன் யாக்கோபை நோக்கி: “நீ எழுந்து பெத்தேலுக்குப் போய், அங்கே குடியிருந்து, நீ உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஏசாவின் முகத்திற்கு விலகி ஓடிப்போகிறபோது, உனக்குக் காட்சியளித்த தேவனுக்கு அங்கே ஒரு பலிபீடத்தை உண்டாக்கு” என்றார்.

And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Beth-el, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
