જયારે ઇઝરાયલ તે દેશમાં હતો, ત્યારે રુબેન તેના પિતાની ઉપપત્ની બિલ્હાની પાસે જઈને તેની સાથે સૂઈ ગયો. તે ઘટના ઇઝરાયલના સાંભળવામાં આવી. યાકૂબના બાર દીકરા હતા.
