அந்த வாலிபன் யாக்கோபுடைய மகளின்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்திருந்ததால், அந்தக் காரியத்தைச் செய்ய அவன் தாமதம்செய்யவில்லை. அவன் தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டார் அனைவருக்குள்ளும் மேன்மையுள்ளவனாக இருந்தான்.
