เอซาวจึงกล่าวว่า “​บัดนี้​​ขอให้​​คนที​่​มาก​ับเราไปกับเจ้าบ้าง” ยาโคบตอบว่า “​มี​ความจำเป็นอะไรหรือ ​ขอให้​ข้าพเจ้าได้รับความกรุณาในสายตาของนายท่านเถิด”
