ยาโคบจึงเรียกสถานที่นั้​นว​่า เปนีเอล ​กล่าวว่า​ “เพราะข้าพเจ้าได้​เห​็นพระพักตร์​พระเจ้า​ ​แล​้วยั​งม​ี​ชี​วิตอยู่”

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
