அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு: “நான் தேவனை முகமுகமாகக் கண்டேன், உயிர் தப்பிப் பிழைத்தேன்” என்று சொல்லி, அந்த இடத்திற்குப் பெனியேல் என்று பெயரிட்டான்.

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
