ஆதியாகமம் 32:20

“இதோ, உமது அடியானாகிய யாக்கோபு எங்களுக்குப் பின்னே வருகிறான் என்றும் சொல்லுங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டான்; முன்னே வெகுமதியை அனுப்பி, அவனைச் சாந்தப்படுத்திவிட்டு, பின்பு அவனுடைய முகத்தைப் பார்ப்பேன், அப்பொழுது ஒருவேளை என்மீது தயவாயிருப்பான்” என்றான்.

And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me.
