அவள் தன் தகப்பனை நோக்கி: “என் ஆண்டவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக நான் எழுந்திருக்காததைக்குறித்துக் கோபப்பட வேண்டாம்; பெண்களுக்குரிய வழிபாடு எனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது” என்றாள்; அப்படியே அவன் அந்தச் சிலைகளைத் தேடியும் கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியவில்லை.

And she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.
