ఆదికాండం 30:14

గోదుమల కోతకాలంలో రూబేను వెళ్ళి పొలంలో మంత్రమూలిక వేర్లు చూసి తన తల్లి లేయాకు తెచ్చి ఇచ్చాడు. అప్పుడు రాహేలు “నీ కొడుకు తెచ్చిన మంత్రమూలికల్లో కొన్ని నాకు ఇవ్వు” అని లేయాతో అంది.

¶ And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son’s mandrakes.
