ഉല്പത്തി 2:19

യഹോവയായ ദൈവം ഭൂമിയിലെ സകല മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ എല്ലാ പറവകളെയും നിലത്തു നിന്നു നിർമ്മിച്ചിട്ടു മനുഷ്യൻ അവെക്കു എന്തു പേരിടുമെന്നു കാണ്മാൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വരുത്തി; സകല ജീവജന്തുക്കൾക്കും മനുഷ്യൻ ഇട്ടതു അവെക്കു പേരായി.

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
