ఆదికాండం 29:33

ఆమె మళ్ళీ గర్భవతి అయ్యి, కొడుకును కని “నేను ప్రేమకు నోచుకోలేదనే సంగతి యెహోవా విన్నాడు కాబట్టి వీడిని కూడా నాకు దయచేశాడు” అనుకుని అతనికి “షిమ్యోను” అని పేరు పెట్టింది.

And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.
