ஆதியாகமம் 29:33

மறுபடியும் அவள் கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்று: “நான் அற்பமாக எண்ணப்பட்டதைக் யெகோவா கேட்டருளி, இவனையும் எனக்குத் தந்தார்” என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு சிமியோன் என்று பெயரிட்டாள்.

And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.
