ઉત્પત્તિ 27:41

યાકૂબને તેના પિતાએ આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો હતો તેને લીધે એસાવે યાકૂબનો દ્વેષ કર્યો. એસાવે પોતાના મનમાં કહ્યું, “મારા પિતાને માટે શોકના દિવસો પાસે છે; એ પૂરા થયા પછી હું મારા ભાઈ યાકૂબને મારી નાખીશ.”

¶ And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.
