Första Moseboken 26:9

Abimelek kallade till sig Isak och sade: ”Hon är ju din hustru! Hur kunde du säga att hon är din syster?” Isak svarade honom: ”Jag tänkte att jag annars kunde bli dödad för hennes skull.”

And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife: and how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.
