ఆదికాండం 25:21

ఇస్సాకు భార్యకి పిల్లలు కలుగలేదు. అందుకని ఇస్సాకు ఆమె విషయం యెహోవాను వేడుకున్నాడు. యెహోవా అతని ప్రార్థన విన్నాడు. ఆ ప్రార్థనకు జవాబిచ్చాడు. ఫలితంగా అతని భార్య రిబ్కా గర్భవతి అయింది.

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
