ઉત્પત્તિ 25:34

યાકૂબે એસાવને રોટલી તથા મસૂરનું બનાવેલું શાક આપ્યાં. તેણે ખાધું, પીધું અને પછી તે ઊઠીને પોતાને રસ્તે ચાલ્યો ગયો. આ રીતે એસાવે પોતાની વરિષ્ઠતાને તુચ્છ ગણી.

Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
