ઉત્પત્તિ 25:30

એસાવે યાકૂબને કહ્યું, “પેલા લાલ શાકમાંથી મને ખાવાને આપ કેમ કે હું થાકી ગયો છું!” તે માટે તેનું નામ અદોમ કહેવાયું.

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
