త్వరగా అక్కడి తొట్టిలో కుండెడు నీళ్ళు కుమ్మరించి తిరిగి నీళ్ళు తోడటానికి బావి దగ్గరికి పరుగు తీసింది. అతని ఒంటెలన్నిటికీ నీళ్ళు తోడి పోసింది.
