യിസ്ഹാക്ക് അവളെ തന്റെ അമ്മയായ സാറയുടെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി. അവൻ റിബെക്കയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു അവൾ അവന്നു ഭാര്യയായിത്തീർന്നു; അവന്നു അവളിൽ സ്നേഹമായി. ഇങ്ങനെ യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നു തന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ മരണദുഃഖം തീർന്നു.

And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
