ఆదికాండం 22:9

దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముకు చెప్పిన స్థలానికి వారు చేరుకున్నారు. అక్కడ అబ్రాహాము ఒక బలిపీఠం నిర్మించి దానిపై కట్టెలు పేర్చాడు. ఇస్సాకును తాళ్ళతో బంధించాడు. ఆ బలిపీఠంపై పేర్చిన కట్టెలపై అతణ్ణి పడుకోబెట్టాడు.

And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
