ఆదికాండం 22:13

అప్పుడు అబ్రాహాము తలెత్తి చూశాడు. ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగించేలా అక్కడ ఉన్న ఒక పొదలో కొమ్ములు చిక్కుకుని ఉన్న ఒక పొట్టేలు అతనికి కనిపించింది. అబ్రాహాము వెళ్ళి ఆ పోట్టేలుని పట్టుకుని తన కొడుక్కి బదులుగా దాన్ని దహనబలిగా అర్పించాడు.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
