ஆதியாகமம் 22:9

தேவன் அவனுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்த இடத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்; அங்கே ஆபிரகாம் ஒரு பலிபீடத்தை உண்டாக்கி, விறகுகளை அடுக்கி, தன் மகனாகிய ஈசாக்கைக் கட்டி, அந்தப் பலிபீடத்தில் அடுக்கிய விறகுகளின்மேல் அவனைப் படுக்கவைத்தான்.

And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
