ஆதியாகமம் 22:17

நான் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கவே ஆசீர்வதித்து, உன் சந்ததியை வானத்திலுள்ள நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலவும், கடற்கரை மணலைப்போலவும் பெருகவே பெருகச்செய்வேன் என்றும், உன் சந்ததியார் தங்கள் எதிரிகளின் வாசல்களைச் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொள்ளுவார்கள் என்றும்,

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
