उत्पत्ति 22:9

जब वे उस स्थान को जिसे परमेश्वर ने उसको बताया था पहुँचे; तब अब्राहम ने वहाँ वेदी बनाकर लकड़ी को चुन-चुनकर रखा, और अपने पुत्र इसहाक को बाँधकर वेदी पर रखी लकड़ियों के ऊपर रख दिया। (याकू. 2:21)

And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
