ఆదికాండం 1:10

దేవుడు ఆరిన నేలకు “భూమి” అని పేరు పెట్టాడు. కూర్చి ఉన్న జలాలకు “సముద్రాలు” అని పేరు పెట్టాడు. అది ఆయనకు మంచిదిగా అనిపించింది.

And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
