ஆதியாகமம் 1:2

பூமியானது. ஒழுங்கற்றதாகவும் வெறுமையாகவும் இருந்தது; ஆழத்தின்மேல் இருள் இருந்தது; தேவ ஆவியானவர் தண்ணீரின்மேல் அசைவாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
