ఆదికాండం 19:14

అప్పుడు లోతు బయటకు వెళ్ళి తన కూతుళ్ళను పెళ్లి చేసుకోబోతున్న తన అల్లుళ్ళతో మాట్లాడాడు. “త్వరగా రండి. ఇక్కడినుండి బయట పడాలి. యెహోవా ఈ పట్టణాన్ని నాశనం చేయబోతున్నాడు” అని చెప్పాడు. అయితే అతడు తన అల్లుళ్ళ దృష్టికి హాస్యమాడుతున్నవాడిలా కనిపించాడు.

And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
