ఆదికాండం 19:1

ఆ సాయంత్రం ఆ ఇద్దరు దేవదూతలు సొదొమ చేరుకున్నారు. ఆ సమయంలో లోతు సొదొమ పట్టణ ప్రధాన ద్వారం దగ్గర కూర్చుని ఉన్నాడు. లోతు దేవదూతలను చూడగానే వారిని కలుసుకోవడానికి వారికి ఎదురు వెళ్ళి సాష్టాంగపడి నమస్కారం చేశాడు.

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
