ஆதியாகமம் 19:1

அந்த இரண்டு தூதர்களும் சாயங்காலத்தில் சோதோமுக்கு வந்தார்கள். லோத்து சோதோமின் வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தான். அவர்களைக் கண்டு, லோத்து எழுந்து எதிர்கொண்டு தரைவரைக்கும் குனிந்து:

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
