Quell'istessa notte adunque diedero a ber del vino al loro padre; e la maggiore venne, e si giacque con suo padre, il quale non si avvide nè quando ella si pose a giacere, nè quando si levò.

And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
