​หน​ังสือปฐมกาล 17:8

เราจะให้​แผ่​นดิ​นที​่​เจ้​าอาศัยอยู่เป็นคนต่างด้าวนี้ คือบรรดาแผ่นดินคานาอันแก่​เจ้​าและเชื้อสายของเจ้าที่มาภายหลังเจ้าให้เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์​นิรันดร์​ และเราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของพวกเขา”

And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
