พระเจ้าตรั​สว​่า “ซาราห์ภรรยาของเจ้าจะคลอดบุตรชายคนหนึ่งแก่​เจ้​าเป็นแน่ ​เจ้​าจะเรียกชื่อของเขาว่า อิสอัค และเราจะตั้งพันธสัญญาของเรากับเขาและกับเชื้อสายของเขาที่มาภายหลังเขาให้เป็นพันธสัญญานิรันดร์

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
