ఆదికాండం 17:9

దేవుడు మళ్ళీ అబ్రాహాముతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నీ వరకూ నువ్వు నా నిబంధన పాటించాలి. నువ్వు మాత్రమే గాక, నీ తరువాత నీ సంతానం తమ తరతరాల్లో నా నిబంధన పాటించాలి.

¶ And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
