​แต่​อับรามพู​ดก​ับนางซารายว่า “​ดู​​เถิด​ ​สาวใช้​ของเจ้าอยู่ในมือของเจ้า จงกระทำแก่เขาตามที่​เจ้​าเห็นควร” เมื่อนางซารายเคี่ยวเข็ญหญิงนั้น หญิงนั้นจึงหนีไปให้พ้นหน้าของนาง

But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.
