ஆதியாகமம் 16:11

பின்னும் யெகோவாவுடைய தூதனானவர் அவளை நோக்கி: “நீ கர்ப்பவதியாக இருக்கிறாய், ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றெடுப்பாய்; யெகோவா உன் அங்கலாய்ப்பைக் கேட்டதால், அவனுக்கு இஸ்மவேல் என்று பெயரிடுவாயாக.

And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
