ஆதியாகமம் 15:5

அவர் அவனை வெளியே அழைத்து: “நீ வானத்தை அண்ணாந்துபார், நட்சத்திரங்களை உன்னாலே எண்ணமுடியுமானால், அவைகளை எண்ணு என்று சொல்லி; பின்பு அவனை நோக்கி: “உன் சந்ததி இந்தவிதமாக இருக்கும்” என்றார்.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
