அந்த சித்தீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் நிலக்கீல் உண்டாகும் கிணறுகள் இருந்தன. சோதோம் கொமோராவின் ராஜாக்கள் தோற்று ஓடி அங்கே விழுந்தார்கள்; மீதமுள்ளவர்கள் மலைகளுக்கு ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.

And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
