Nu gavs löftena till Abraham och hans avkomma. Det står inte: "och dina avkomlingar", som när det gäller många, utan som när det gäller en enda: och din avkomma, som är Kristus.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
