ഗലാത്യർ 3:15

സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നടപ്പുള്ള ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം പറയാം: ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ നിയമം ആയാലും അതിന്നു ഉറപ്പു വന്നശേഷം ആരും ദുർബ്ബലമാക്കുകയോ അതിനോടു വല്ലതും കൂട്ടിക്കല്പിക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
