GALATI 3:19

Perchè dunque fu data la legge? fu aggiunta per le trasgressioni, finchè fosse venuta la progenie, alla quale era stata fatta la promessa; essendo pubblicata dagli angeli, per mano d'un mediatore.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
