ગલાતીઓને પત્ર 3:19

તો નિયમશાસ્ત્ર શા માટે હતું? જેઓને ઇબ્રાહિમનું સંતાન આપવાનું વચન આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું તેઓની પાસે તે સંતાન આવે ત્યાં સુધી નિયમશાસ્ત્ર અપરાધોને લીધે આપવામાં આવેલું હતું; અને તે મધ્યસ્થની મારફતે, સ્વર્ગદૂતો દ્વારા ફરમાવેલું હતું.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
