ఎజ్రా 9:5

సాయంత్రం బలి అర్పించే సమయానికి నేను కృంగిన స్థితి నుంచి తేరుకుని లేచాను. నా దుప్పటి, అంగీ చిరిగిపోయి ఉన్న స్థితిలోనే మోకరించి, నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా వైపు చేతులు పైకెత్తి ఇలా ప్రార్ధించాను,

¶ And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God,
