എസ്രാ 9:15

യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീ നീതിമാൻ; ഞങ്ങളോ ഇന്നുള്ളതു പോലെ തെറ്റി ഒഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പത്രേ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാതകത്തോടുകൂടെ ഇതാ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അതു നിമിത്തം നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്പാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിവില്ല.

O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.
