Deze Ezra toog op uit Babel; en hij was een vaardig schriftgeleerde in de wet van Mozes, die de HEERE, de God Israels, gegeven heeft; en de koning gaf hem, naar de hand des HEEREN, zijns Gods, over hem, al zijn verzoek.
