യിസ്രായേലിനോടുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകളുടെയും ചട്ടങ്ങളുടെയും വാക്യങ്ങളിൽ വിദഗ്ദ്ധശാസ്ത്രീയായ എസ്രാപുരോഹിതന്നു അർത്ഥഹ്ശഷ്ടാരാജാവു കൊടുത്ത എഴുത്തിന്റെ പകർപ്പാവിതു:

¶ Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.
