Ezra 5:12

Maar omdat onze vaderen den God des hemels hadden vertoornd, heeft Hij hen aan den Chaldeër Nabukodonosor, den koning van Babel, overgeleverd, en deze heeft deze tempel verwoest en het volk naar Babel weggevoerd.

But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.
