પછી અહાશ્વેરોશ રાજાના રાજ્યકાળની શરૂઆતમાં તેઓએ યહૂદિયા તથા યરુશાલેમના રહેવાસીઓ વિરુદ્ધ તહોમત મૂકીને કાગળ લખ્યો.

And in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, wrote they unto him an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.
